Andrew Little has resigned as Labour leader after a string of poor poll results.
A cloud has persisted over the leadership of Mr Little since two disastrous poll results from One News Colmar Brunton and Newshub Reid Research that saw party support slip to just 24 per cent.
A third by Labour's own pollsters, UMR, put support at just 23 per cent, low enough to even leave Mr Little's position as a listed MP in doubt.
Little told the caucus he would stand aside on Tuesday.
