102-year-old Alice Barker was a chorus line dancer during the Harlem Renaissance of the the 1930s and 40s.
She danced alongside greats including Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, and Bill "Bojangles" Robinson and frequented the dance floors of clubs such as The Apollo, Cotton Club, and Zanzibar Club.
Although Barker starred in numerous movies, commercials and shows, she was never able to see any of her own work. Footage and photographs of her dancing past have been lost over the years.
As a gift to Barker, researchers were able to dig up three "Soundies" she appeared in. See Barker's reaction as she watches herself dance for the very first time!
