Upper Hutt man Shane Ross, at age 56, has run 21 half marathons in the past 21 weeks, to raise funds and awareness for the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation.
Ross has been an asthmatic all his life, and the condition sidelined him from sports and recreation activities as a kid. Having competed in Coast to Coast races and ultra-marathons, he wants to show that having asthma is no barrier to competing in endurance sport.
