This year's domestic Twenty20 Super Smash cricket event will feature a set final venue - Wellington's Basin Reserve - for both the women's and men's competitions.

To preview the season ahead, Adam Cooper was joined by Kate Chandler and Logan van Beek from the Blaze and Firebirds.

The Wellington teams begin their season in Hamilton on January 1, before hosting their first matches at the Basin Reserve on January 9.
