Financial skills would become a core part of the school curriculum, if Labour is re-elected.

Labour's Education Minister Jan Tinetti says research shows some schools do this well already, but others schools- not so much.
"The fact that we've got inequity that's happening there for our young people- we need to make certain that all young people come out with a basis of skills."
