The Prime Minster's former chief science adviser Sir Peter Gluckman joins the Weekend Collective to talk about the Government's potential move to alert level three, and what it suggests about the future.
Mr Gluckman says when the country drops to level three, it will not be long until we go to level two.
He adds eliminating the number of cases is unrealistic, but reducing the amount heavily is certainly achievable.
"The lockdown has given us the chance to be in a position where the number of cases after we remove the lockdown is low enough that it should not disturb the population."
