Sir Tony Robinson has quite the varied CV: comedian, actor, author, presenter and political activist.
Since rising to fame playing Baldrick on BBC television series Blackadder, he has done everything from writing children’s books and TV shows, hosting historical and travel documentaries to having spent several years on the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party.
Now he has a new travel show – Around the World by Train showing on TVNZ 1, taking us through Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas, in a time when the world is very much cut off from us all.
Sir Tony joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss what it was like filming the show, and how it feels right to promote a travel show during lockdown.
