Police Minister and Leader of the House Chris Hipkins is set to succeed Jacinda Ardern as Prime Minister of New Zealand.
Chris Hipkins was the only nominee in the running to replace Ardern following Thursday's abrupt resignation.
The Labour caucus is due to meet in the capital at 1pm today to confirm Hipkins as the Labour party's new leader.
