Over 50,000 kiwi women are overdue Mammograms due to screening delays. According to the Breast Cancer Foundation, this could mean 300 women have undiagnosed breast cancer.

One woman who has experienced delays in screening is Northland based Antoinette Howard-Mayr.

After discovering a lump in her breast, Antoinette had to beg health professionals for a scan.

The scan has revealed she has stage 3 breast cancer.

Today the Breast Cancer Foundation is launching the Give Me My Mammogram campaign.

Breast Cancer Foundation CEO Ah-Leen Rayner and Antoinette Howard-Mayr joined Francesca Rudkin.
