It may seem like poor timing given the latest All Blacks result, but a celebration of all things Irish is taking place around the country.
The inaugural New Zealand Irish Fest has been running since Wednesday with events across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
The festival has featured over 60 events including Irish musicians, comedians, dance and film.
Irish comedian Alan McElroy will be taking part in the event, having emigrated to New Zealand eight years ago.
He joined Kerre McIvor to discuss comedy, the festival, and, of course, how the Irish will react to besting the All Blacks.
