The Deputy Prime Minister has criticised the outgoing Treasury boss for her comments on changing the superannuation age.
As her five-year term ends, Caralee McLiesh has said New Zealand needs a capital gains tax - and a more efficient superannuation scheme.
Winston Peters has long argued against lifting the eligibility age.
He admits it will need to rise one day, but says the question is whether now's the time, which McLiesh doesn't address.
