Simon Bridges says the heavens are shining down on him right now thanks to the Labour Party.
Speaking with The Country's Jamie Mackay today, the National Party leader took joy in the numerous scandals currently engulfing the Government.Â
Responding to criticisms about his professional experience courtesy of Winston Peters, Bridges responded that none of Labour’s top brass – outside of David Parker – have ever worked in the private sector.
Whereas many of National’s top MP’s have far more experience when it comes to running their own business.
"I don't think they understand the stresses and strains on SME's, on business people who take risks, who have to employ people."
Bridges clarified that the lack of private sector experience doesn’t make them bad people. Â
