The Regulations Minister has announced a sector review into the approval process for new agricultural and horticultural products.

David Seymour says it's to make it easier to bring in animal compounds in veterinary medicines.

Seymour explained red tape stops farmers and growers accessing products approved by other OECD countries - and it can take as long as nine years to get approval here.
