Chris Luxon's stuck a jibing boot into the Prime Minister after Jacinda Ardern got down and dirty heading to work this morning.

Ardern revealed on social media she had to wear muddy gumboots to Parliament to avoid waking her daughter Neve and partner Clarke Gayford.

She says daylight saving was messing with their sleeping schedules.

Luxon told the Country he didn't get his own gummies on today. 

“I’m surprised she’d know how to wear her red bands, to be honest. But that aside, I’m in Auckland, I’m in my normal attire.”
