Saving prime farmland is the goal of new changes to forestry.
The Government will be putting a moratorium on converting the best category 1 to 5 farm land into forestry.
There will also be restrictions around category 6 land.
Prime Minister Chris Luxon explained there's been some 'troubling' developments.
