The Prime Minister says staying in the Paris Climate Accord is in the country's best interests.

National's coalition partners - ACT and New Zealand First - want us to follow America's lead and pull out.

But Chris Luxon says they aren't punishing farmers and want agriculture to grow.

He explained that farmers tell him competing dairy countries and multi-national companies would make New Zealand's exit an excuse to remove Kiwi products from their shelves.
