The Prime Minister's raised a sceptical eyebrow over banking practices in rural New Zealand.
Finance Minister Nicola Willis has written to the chairs of both the Finance, and the Primary Production Select Committees chairs, requesting an inquiry into banking competition.
Chris Luxon says this is an important area for MPs to look into.
