The National Fastpitch Championships head into the business end at Rosedale Park this weekend.  

With the best eight provincial teams across both men's and women's doing battle for the title of 'National Champions'.  

The event will see athletes pushing for national selection, with both the New Zealand Men's and New Zealand Junior Womens teams heading to the WBSC World Cup Group Stage qualifiers mid- year.  

Black Sox's Head Coach Thomas Makea joined D'Arcy Waldegrave to preview the event and background on the selection process.
