Day two of domestic cricket's T20 Super Smash is done and dusted.

Alexandra played host to the men's and women's doubleheader yesterday between Otago and Canterbury.

The women's game saw Otago go down to Canterbury despite an initially strong start to the season.

"Alexandra, Molyneu Park is a beautiful venue, but one that we left with our tail between our legs actually," Otago Sparks Coach Craig Cumming said.
