There's a nervous wait for several of the country's top swimmers.
The national championships saw seven athletes clock times under the Olympic qualifying mark - including first-time hopefuls Hazel Ouwehand, Taiko Torepe-Ormsby and Kane Follows.
Their fate now lies in the hands of the New Zealand Olympic Committee, who will sign off on the swimming team who will step on a plane to Paris.
