White Ferns all-rounder Amelia Kerr has spoken out against the abrupt end to teammate Amy Satterthwaite's international career, saying it was not how her time in the sport should've ended.Â
Satterthwaite, the former White Ferns captain who is New Zealand's most capped women's ODI player, decided to retire from international cricket after being advised she would not be offered an annual New Zealand Cricket playing contract for the 2022–23 season.Â
In a post on Instagram, Kerr said she was heartbroken to hear the news and suggested the decision not to offer the Ferns great a contract was wrong.Â
So how does Amy feel about it all? D'Arcy Waldegrave spoke to her on Sportstalk to find out.Â
