Prime Minister John Key joins Mike Hosking to discuss the big issues of the day.

They begin by reflecting on the terrible shooting event in Orlando, with Key saying gun control has been something he has discussed with President Obama, and that he will be writing a letter of condolence to the USA. 

Key also gives his views on Fijian PM Frank Bainimarama's comments during Key's visit, with Key insisting that Bainimarama's comments won't affect NZ aid being sent to the Pacific nation. 

The recent move by banks to restrict lending to foreign house buyers is also on the agenda, with Key saying the move is a minor step given the small proportion of offshore buyers in the housing market. 

Finally, the refugee quota is discussed, with various options discussed regarding an increase to the quota.
