It appears New Zealand's relationship with China is continuing to blossom in the eyes of most Kiwis.

A report released by the New Zealand China Council shows 43% of New Zealanders are positive about the relationship, with just 14% disagreeing.

New Zealand China Council executive director Stephen Jacobi told Mike Hosking the findings are encouraging overall.

"There's always room for improvement but it's good to see people do see the benefit of the trade relationship with China."
