Simon Bridges is defending another road show tour of the country.
The National party leader will be travelling the country again, as part of a month-long consultation with the small business community.
Bridges came under fire for the travel costs from his previous road show.
But he told Mike Hosking he would rather set policy in opposition, than rely on working groups like the current government is.
"We don't want to make the mistake this Government has made of 150 working groups [because] they didn't do the work in opposition."
