Another poll, and the first of the televised leaders' debates.
The National leader and Labour's Jacinda Ardern went head-to-head on a raft of issues - in the first televised leaders debate of the election campaign.
Former Labour and United Future politician Peter Dunne told Mike Hosking while there were no winners - Collins certainly didn't lose.
"She had much more at stake - but she did a good job of persuading National supporters she's up to the job."
Judith Collins performed well in last night's debate, but the 1News Colmar Brunton poll which preceded it, would have brought little cheer to National.
Dunne says with the poll putting Labour at 48 per cent support and National at 31 - the debate isn't likely to change much.
"It might tighten the margins - but the real race here is between the minor parties."
