Could one way of helping out our economy be to do with our nightlife?

The NZ Initiative has released a report about how we can reinvigorate our nightlife which in turn will offer us more social and economic opportunities.

It involves having local policies for different areas, actually tackling the alcohol problem instead of limiting when bars have to stop selling - and appointing a night mayor.

Oliver Hartwich, executive director of NZ Initiative, joined Mike Hosking to discuss the proposal and how exactly it would work.
