The first concert at Auckland's Eden Park may only be a couple of months away.
The appeal window on a resource consent decision to allow six concerts a year closed on Friday - with no appeals filed to the Environment Court.
Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner says his team is now shifting it's focus to delivering a concert under the conditions of the consent.
He says they're confident they'll be able to deliver an event potentially as early as April.
Sautner says holding concerts will provide economic benefits for the city and create jobs.
"More than 3500 jobs are created on event day at Eden Park, and they're looking forward to delivering not just economic benefit but also escapism for the greater population."
