It's not just Team New Zealand and the other America's Cup competitors rallying around American Magic - a local cafe community is also playing their part.

The American Magic crew have adopted Johnny Wrays cafe as their local since being here, and after the crash the cafe made a nice gesture of delivering some free coffees.

Well it caught the eye of Team NZ, customers and even US fans as now there is a massive pay it forward system for the team as they rush to repair their boat for the semifinals.

Owner of Johnny Wrays cafe Neil Morris joined Mike Hosking on the show this morning.
