Freedoms for vaccinated New South Wales residents have been brought forward.
From Monday, vaccinated people can have unlimited visitors in their home and density limits on venues will ease.
Restrictions ease for unvaccinated people when the state hits 95 percent vaccinated or by December 15.
New South Wales is just about 88 percent double dosed now.
Australasian Medical Association New South Wales Council chairman Michael Bonning told Mike Hosking the anti-vax reaction has been pretty muted.
“Since we have opened up there has been a real return to normal. I think people are really enjoying the freedoms that they have”
Protests have been escalating on this side of the Tasman.
Five-thousand people protested in Auckland on Saturday, and 250 turned out in Whanganui yesterday.
