The lead contractor behind the Christchurch Stadium is positive they've done the work to minimise the pricing risk.
Christchurch councillors yesterday voted to go ahead with the stadium - agreeing to sign a fixed price contract of $683 million with BESIX Watpac.
Three councillors were opposed, but the other 14 were in support.

“We’ve done a lot of good work over the last few weeks and few months to really de-risk the project to make sure it’s a success for the local market and for us.”
