Principals of schools returning next week are being told to ask for help from the Ministry of Education, if they need it.
Papatoetoe North School principal, Stan Tiatia, says the process for returning to school is a dog's breakfast, adding he can't believe principals are responsible for sorting out the health and safety of their students.
Associate Education Minister Jan Tinnetti told Mike Hosking Tiatia needs to talk with the Ministry of Education, which will work closely with him.
“If principals need support they can go to their local regional offices for that support and our local regional directors are really looking forward to and welcoming that.”
