A welcome surprise for those working at a Kiwi tech company.  

The 53 employees at Auckland-based firm Kami have each been given a $10,000 bonus.  

The company recently reached its milestone of 30 million users for its remote-learning tool. 

It's also been recently named the fastest growing company in New Zealand by the Deloitte Fast 50 list. 

Co-founder Hengjie Wang told Mike Hosking their staff have earned the bonus. 

“It was a complete surprise for them, we wanted to really recognise their hard work and surprise them with something big, they’ve done an amazing job.”
