John Key is likely to be the last world leader to visit David Cameron at Downing Street.
Our Prime Minister has just met with his departing counterpart, ahead of Theresa May moving in as his replacement this week.
TVNZ UK correspondent Emma Keeling told Jack Tame our Prime Minister says Mr Cameron is quite literally packing up.
"He's packing up Downing Street would you believe - John Key said they were packing boxes all over the place."
Keeling said the meeting was likely about what's been happening behind the scenes - and which leaders New Zealand will now have to start dealing with in the EU.
"Really the UK was New Zealand's eyes and ears on the EU table, and of course in a couple of years that won't be there anymore and so really New Zealand now has to forge ahead and create their own deals."
