A Sport New Zealand survey which looked at our participation in organized sport and recreation, shows that fewer kiwis are involved than ever before.
Less than a third of adults spend less than half an hour a week involved in organized sport or recreational activity. Participation in club sport is also at record lows.
Doctor Clive Pope is an associate professor at the Waikato university faculty of Health, Sport and Human Resource, and he joined the Mike Hosking Breakfast this morning to discuss the recent survey results.
