Health officials are still assessing the risk from two positive cases of Covid-19 in Christchurch.Â
The cases are two unvaccinated members of the same household.Â
Members of another household have been identified as close contacts, but other close contacts, exposure events, and locations of interest are yet to be identified.Â
Covid Response Minister Chris Hipkins told Mike Hosking one of the cases returned to Christchurch from Auckland about a week ago.Â
He says it's still far too early to be talking about a lockdown for Christchurch.Â
