National is calling on the Government to move faster, to scrap the MIQ system and end lockdowns.
The Government is due to announce its own vaccination targets on Friday, and stepped changes to managed isolation in the coming week.
National says it would do so once 85 to 90 percent of the country is double-vaccinated and had hit certain milestones, or at the start of December if those targets aren't reached by then.
Covid spokesperson, Chris Bishop, told Mike Hosking most people coming into the country aren't likely to be bringing Covid with them.
“97 percent of people in MIQ right now are partly or fully vaccinated, 90 percent of them are fully vaccinated, it’s quite astonishing. And most of those people are with Pfizer.”
