Wanaka's ski resorts aren't holding up hopes for a trans-Tasman travel bubble injecting Aussie skiers on the slopes.

Legnavsky says Kiwi skiers account for 60 percent of the ski areas' visitors.

She says they're banking on patronage from Wanaka skiers in a Level 2 scenario.
