It’s hard to believe the idea of 'Six Degrees of Separation' is quite recent, becoming popular with the 1990s play of the same name.
And now it’s playing in Auckland, with actor Andrew Grainger starring as one of the main leads.
UK born, he started his acting career with British classics like The Bill and Heartbeat.
But he moved to New Zealand over a decade ago for lifestyle and turned his hand to Kiwi classics instead like Shortland Street and Outrageous Fortune.
Andy Grainger joined Mike Hosking in studio to discuss the play, his career and what brought him to our shores.
