Winston Peters is slamming the Government's decision to move Northland's Far North back into Alert Level Three.
That part of the region will move into the restrictions from midnight until at least Monday.
The move comes as two Taipa cases remain unlinked to any other case, or location of interest.
The New Zealand First Leader told Heather du Plessis-Allan Alert Level restrictions worked last year, but not anymore.
“I know too many people whose lives have just been turned from great success to utterly wrecked.”
He also called for Jacinda Ardern to visit Auckland and see pain lockdown is causing.
