The former Deputy Prime Minister is chastising the Government for refusing to meet the protestors at Parliament.
New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters was seen today chatting and taking photos with anti-Covid mandate demonstrators on Parliament lawn.
During the 16-day occupation protestors have thrown human waste at Police, driven a car into a Police line, directed a firework at officers and threatened violence against MPs, locals and media.
But Mr Peters told NTZB's Heather du Plessis-Allan MPs should have met the protestors weeks ago.
“Why have they had this position that they’re going to gaslight all the protesters, character assassinate them all, have no regard for their individual or professional circumstances?”
