Too lazy to go to the petrol station? Christchurch company has the solution

There’s a new service looking to get on board the 'on demand' economy: petrol that comes to you.

If you hate filling up your car, one Christchurch company is happy to bring the fuel to you for the same price you'll pay at the pump.

The service is called 'Fill'. Co-founder Tom Evatt told Heather du Plessis-Allan that people just need to use the app to book a session and his colleagues will come round and fill it up.

He says that people will just need to open the fuel cap and they will be able to get in. Evatt doubts that there will be many people looking to siphon off fuel.

"It may be a concern for some people, but if the car's parked up the driveway or in a well-lit space, we don't think that's going to be an issue."
