A peace prize for Donald Trump.

Could it actually happen?

Some, including South Korea's President, think Trump deserves the prize for his contribution to end the standoff with North Korea.

Thomas Nash is a Palmeston North local who worked on the international campaign to abolish nuclear weapons which won last year's Nobel Peace Prize

He told Larry Williams it should be the Korean people who have been working for peace and reunification of Korea who should be recognised.

"All the movements that have been bravely doing that, both in the North and the South should be getting the credit. They have created an amazing historical breakthrough so i would prioritise them over Donald Trump."
