The Huddle: Border exemptions, bathrooms and Manu Vatuvei

The problem with gang members being able to get exemptions to enter Auckland is more to do with how they are being prioritised by the Government.

Two leading Mongrel Mob figures - Sonny Fatupaito and Harry Tam - were able to get exemptions, yet Summit Homes are unable to send workers the other way to build homes and a Rotorua father won't be in Auckland for when his wife gives birth to triplets.

The newest debate of the Auckland Covid rules is being able to use your friend's bathroom at an outdoor gathering at their place.

Ministers are divided on the issue, with Ashley Bloomfield and Grant Robertson saying it's fine, but Jacinda Ardern and Chris Hipkins are saying otherwise.

Elsewhere, rugby league legend Manu Vatuvei has pleaded guilty for importing methamphetamine with his brother.

The two of them face their sentencing in December.
