Auckland Mayor Phil Goff is defending his actions to only show councillors a redacted version on stadium options.
Goff is being accused of keeping the $900,000 document on stadium options for Auckland a secret from councillors
He says he'd love to have made it public - but it's commercially sensitive.
"I can't afford commercially sensitive to be leaked and unfortunately we have a tradition of leaking in the council."
He told Larry Williams he's been barred by the ombudsman to share any further information.
"The ombudsman upheld the fact that I couldn't disclose the information. Obviously to any councillor, come up to my office, have a look at it."
