Kiwi business owners are being warned to keep up with the latest technology.

With tech companies constantly churning out updates and new innovations, business owners have struggled to keep up with the changing world.

But tech futurist Paul Spain hass issued a new warning, saying that local businesses risk being wiped out if they spend too much time just watching from afar.

He told Heather du Plessis-Allan says that technology has changed rapidly over the last decade, and whole industries have been drastically shaken up by the changes.
