China has fired back at Australia's claims that their sonar technology was responsible for injuring navy divers.
Australian defence minister Richard Marles says several divers from the HMAS Toowoomba sustained injuries from sonar pulses emitted from a Chinese warship.
The Chinese Government has accused Australia of making 'rude and irresponsible' statements in regards to their sonar technology, after allegations surfaced.
Australian correspondent Murray Olds says Prime Minister Albanese has also criticised China's use of sonar.
