A veteran yachtsman says there's almost no chance the missing Volvo Ocean Race sailor will be found alive.
British sailor John Fisher went overboard about 16 hours ago in strong winds in the South Pacific.
Six-time America's Cup and Round the World sailor Mike Quilter says he's in the middle of nowhere in big ocean and weather conditions, 400 miles away from the nearest ship.
He told Larry Williams crews in races like this are pushing themselves to the limit in a dangerous sport.
"Push too hard and you crash and burn, but if you don't push hard enough, you come last, and you're basically tearing through the night, complete blackness, on the verge of control the whole time."
