Associate housing minister Marama Davidson has hit back at claims she's been quiet on the issue of emergency housing.
The Green Party co-leader yesterday claimed some of our emergency housing is inhumane.
Monte Cecilia housing trust boss Bernie Smith says he was surprised to see Davidson in the media on emergency housing, because she's been very silent this term.
Davidson told Andrew Dickens she recognises people don't hear everything she says, but she has been clear before and since she became a minister.
"I'm surprised he missed the big question in the House that blew up. I acknowledge that not everybody hears me, but I've certainly been nothing but loud."
