If you've got an old laptop lying round at home, don't throw it in the bin, there might yet be a bit of life in it.
Spark has launched a new programme called RAD, or Recycle A Device.
They're hoping to teach high school students to refurbish them, and then donate them to people in the local community who might need them.
Kate Thomas is the Spark Foundation lead and she spoke with Andrew Dickens.
”They can do all of the secure wiping, so the data sanitisation so that works really well. If businesses can’t do it themselves or individuals don’t have the facilities, it gets securely wiped.”
