Jacinda Ardern has welcomed Australia's decision to make flood assistance available to Kiwis caught up in the New South Wales floods.
She said it was significant and bodes well for her upcoming meeting with Anthony Albanese, while also saying it was "pretty much the opposite" to what Scott Morrison would've done.
Ardern is still resisting the idea of moving back to Red.
It comes as New Zealand surpasses 10,000 for the first time since April.
Ayesha Verrall has also played it down.
